As full time mom and wife I spent nearly 20 years devoting every waking hour (and some of the sleeping hours too) to my own family and our three incredible children. Over the summer of 2019, after many years of bringing by regular donations, my teen daughter and I attended their stellar, life changing training sessions to become volunteers at Empowerhouse. Down the rabbit hole... by fall, I was compelled to join this **amazing** team as a children's advocate for the forgotten victims, child witnesses of domestic violence. In addition to individual and family advocacy, we also present and lead discussions on healthy relationships in classrooms all over our planning district - King George, Caroline, Spotsylvania and Stafford Counties.

Join me in supporting Empowerhouse to Empower a New Generation by breaking the cycle of domestic violence through children and youth education and advocacy. In our community, over 10,000 children witness family violence each year and Empowerhouse has made expanding education and awareness to children and youth a priority.
