Join me in supporting Empowerhouse to Empower a New Generation by breaking the cycle of domestic violence through children and youth education. In our community, over 10,000 children witness family violence each year. I see first hand the devastating effects of this experience on people in our community. Empowerhouse has made expanding education and awareness to children and youth a priority.
Children face many risks from adverse situations they may experience. They need our help in making it a universal experience that they learn what abuse looks like and what a healthy relationship includes and the skills they need to identify healthy and unhealthy behaviors.
